About Us

Justice and Peace Ireland is an initiative of the Council for Justice and Peace of the Irish Bishops’ Conference inspired by the Gospel and specifically, the call ‘to find Jesus in the faces of others, in their voices, in their pleas’ (Evangelii Gaudium 91).

We thank our friends, Caritas Social Action Network (CSAN), Trόcaire, the Jesuit Refugee Service, APT Ireland, and the Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice, for assistance in the development of this website.
